Kim Ngan's real name is Ly Kim Ngan (born on June 6, 1963), a singer known for her popular voice, beauty, and fame in the early 1980s overseas Vietnamese music scene.
Kim Ngan migrated to the US in 1975 with her mother and two siblings. In 1983, she began her artistic career, and the person who helped her the most was musician Truong Hai.
Appearing in the first video produced overseas by Truong Hai, with the song "Khong" by composer Nguyen Anh 9, became the platform that made Kim Ngan famous and brought her many successes.
Some of her outstanding songs include "Tuoi Da Buon", "Mua Hong", "Khong", "Buoc Tinh Hong", "Dem Cuoi Cung Ben Anh"...
During that successful and famous period, Kim Ngan also opened a music center named after herself with a fairly large scale.
