Thanh Lan, born on March 1st, 1948 in Vinh City, Nghe An, is a Vietnamese singer and actress. She is one of the rare artists who have achieved success in all three fields of music, film, and stage.
During the strong development period of the Vietnamese youth music movement, Thanh Lan was one of the most familiar faces with French-language songs. Thanh Lan also had duets with male singer Nhat Truong, singing popular songs by Tran Thien Thanh, forming a highly popular singing duo at that time.
