Description

Endowed with a melodious voice and a strong passion for music, Jayanthi Nadig
started performing at a young age. She has performed all over Bangalore, as a lead singer for the Lalita Kala Kendra Orchestra. She has received traditional training in Carnatic classical music from Vidwan Sunderraj Iyengar and has won many prizes/awards. She has also received training in Hindustani classical music from Smt. Tripti Mukherjee, a disciple of Pandit Jasraj.

Jayanthi has actively pursued her penchant for music, here in the US, performing on ITV, at AKKA World Conference and many other cultural venues. She has also performed with music director Guru Kiran, and playback singers Ratnamala Prakash, Malati Sharma, Badri Prasad and Satish Aryan.
