"I didn't write the code, I found it" gave me legitimate stomach-turning dread.

The best part about these games is the fact that none of them employed cheap jump scares to haunt the players. Just pure feeling of dread and mystery, sometimes misery. If Nexpo cut them all out, then it serves as a reminder that jump scares are not needed for these games.

"Dead silence... an encroaching darkness intrudes on our field of view, only allowing us to see feet in front of us at a time... Holly is gone... and so we're left to explore this building, alone." .... CLIP CLOP CLIP CLOP CLIP CLOP

I feel like I want to start answering "How are you?" with the response "truly a wonderful day to be a horse"

You failed to connect that the archeologist in the Children of Clay was highly afraid of the caving accident, in which he was stuck without a light and impossible to get out, he was rescued then but it stayed as his biggest fear, this is the reason the creature appeared as four walls to him. Also shortly before his light goes black and him reaching for the walls you can see the creature in the corner, breathing, while being an amalgamation of stone without a shape. This implies that the creature physically IS the walls, it literally encircled him forever, as this is his biggest fear.

"im going to pull the iron pin out of the clay doll that keeps the demon inside" like brother maybe you deserve to be in a cramped cave after doing that

Tölt is a specific gait typical for horses that can run on ice. They canter with their front legs and trot with their back legs. It helps them not slip.

Tartarus Engine aka "hey bro i found this on stackoverflow"
rjbradley2923 (22 hours ago)
The tartarus engine is the most horrifying thing I have ever heard of.

Babbdi is like the fever dream version of that SpongeBob episode where Squidward is living his “ideal” community, realizes it sucks, then escapes with a leaf blower.

The second game, confined, there's actually a secret doctor's note that the player can find. Eiron's medical record stating that Eiron died of a hip fracture and the medical report simply says "Big Eiron, on his hip."
Charli165 (18 hours ago)
Babbdi is LITERALLY what it feels like being born poor in any 3rd world country. There's no escape, there's not much to live for, the systems actively keeps you on the muddy void of a brutalist system in decaying architectures, and someone dying means a bed is now free in the hospital to be taken by the next person to hopefuly not die. Babbdi didn't surprised me at all, just reminded me of why I'm trying to escape my country.

Oh no. That second one made me so sad; I even immediately went “you’re feeding something” I figured it was an eldritch beast, because it always is. But no; oh no! OH NO!

I think the funniest part of Tartarus Engine wasn't even that the "found" code didn't work. It worked, but the bum forgot to disable what I assume is an automatic override and trapped themselves in eternity of being thrown out of infinite layers of the machine.
