“Do not look away” strikes me more like the Night telling the executor not to ignore the truth in front of him that grace is fading. The Night doesn’t lie, it persuades; perhaps that is why it can be persuaded in turn.

Who knew that among FromSoft’s catalogue of nightmarish monsters, hordes of undead, corrupted gods, eldritch entities and more, one of the scariest and most unsettling moments they did is an ordinary man driven to madness as he brutally and gruesomely murders an entire noble family before finishing with their frightened child unlucky enough to alert him as she hides in terror?

The executor remembrance is literally him going through redemption for his betrayal, the knight has doubts because he looked away from the Erdtree, he saw the artist and saw the light within her, so his remembrance is him going out to find that light once again, then his past loyalty coming up as a shadow to prevent him from truly returning, he betrayed it once, what’s to stop him from doing it again? So he proved himself worthy of redemption and vows to serve the light once again.

One thing that I love about the Executor's remembrance is that its all in poem format, it adds more character for him. I also believe that the painter's spirit is in the Sun catcher

That Revenant remembrance cutscene for me is the scariest and most terrifying moment Fromsoft ever made.

The Nightfarers are a random bunch, we got a cursed bird, a blood curdling witch, a yokai possessed doll, a former crucible knight, blackbeard, an assassin who lives among death, and the brother and sister sacrificing complex

Revenant was definitely the best remembrance. It’s the first time we got to see some horror killer cutscene and makes me wonder how beautiful a Bloodborne remake would look like

The Revenant's final cinematic with what happened to the Ravencroft family, and Chloe in specific, is one of the most harrowing things I've witnessed in all of FromSoft's works.
