I like audio gear. Mostly old, lo-fi obscure stuff. I use them in a hybrid studio along with modern software.
I spend a lot of time trawling through eBay listings, going to car boot sales, flea markets, and charity shops looking for broken, discarded unloved and unwanted gear and doing my best to restore them. I'm no expert so much of this is a journey of discovery! Once they are restored they either find their way into my studio and get used in my productions or I sell them on to a good home. These videos are audio tests, comparisons, reviews and some of the challenges I faced in trying to restore these wonderful units!
