G'day Pete, yeah amazing how many can be pumped out these days ; ) I did do a sharpening on a mate's OLD "damascus' "bowie" job recently, I've no idea what that particular fella was made of, I found it quite soft in the scheme of things ............. but must admit, it did LOOK mighty !!!!!!! fine, and if I do say so ended up in good shape when I got through with it, however, cant say I'm confident for the long term, without VERY regular maintenance anyway ; )
