12C27 is used in the stainless Opinel knives. With those I found it very easy to sharpen, but it also blunts easily.

12C27N is the predecessor to 14C28N, still a good budget steel. That Fossil is heavy and originally had a really bad pocket clip. Thanks for the content you two.

Even a couple of Mora's in the case. None of the Walmart's in my area even out in the country have a knife case like that.

The closset Walmart to me is 8500 kilometer from away..they used to be in Germany but left in 2006..the easyest way to get a pocket knife or a multi tool in The Netherlands at a hardwarestore i think.
