I have #1 (89 UD Ken Griffey Jr) and #10 (80 Topps Rickey Henderson) and agree with their impact on the hobby. What I appreciate about your list is #1 is an iconic card that most collectors can actually afford to own. Iconic goes beyond rare and that’s what makes your #1 the right pick IMO. Well done!

I've enjoyed a bunch of different lists. Some are like yours, and have a couple cards unlike others. Which I enjoy. Putting Griffey at #1, though! What a choice!
