We have a 24’ Class C towing a Wrangler. You have to factor the dirt and dust. Yet, it’s our favorite mode of camping.

Definitely pee outside, it marks your territory and inserts your dominance of your boondocking site.

Popping the comment cherry. I've had toyhaulers prepped for boondocking, never did never wanted to. I like my glamping, lol. Myself being an avid sxs guy rock crawling lover, I can get plenty of dust out on the trails, I see a lot of boondockers in Arizona on BLM land right by the trails and I don't know how they do it. Sometimes we have to wear facemasks just to ride out there. I can't imagine the amount of dust and dirt that those folks have to deal with being in an RV right off the trails. Speaking of that, when ya gonna come see me in Arizona? I'll show you guys a great time out in that desert.

I guess it all depends on what you want to achieve when travelling. The "off road toy thing" has zero interest to me, so i avoid those areas when planning potential sites. Dust and dirt are always going to be a thing so i just live with it. Takes less than 5 minutes to clean up 40 sq feet. Same for bugs. All types of mitigation to make it manageable including just moving to another location.

You two are not outdoors people sale that RV and stay home.
