The Canadian dollar isn't worth squat right now. It's not politics it's dollars and cents.

This is a sad situation for sure. I have Canadian friends and we laugh about this when we get together. It is mostly the emotional fringe that do this. On a side note... maybe I can finally get a reservation in Big Bend National Park this winter.

I spent close to 6 weeks in Canada last summer and early fall. Most of it was in the Yukon at Whitehorse, and I found all Canadians extremely friendly! I made friends with one family in particular that helped us when our tow vehicle needed extensive repairs.

I saw a recent poll out of Canada where the majority of the Provences and territories have greater than 50 percent would consider becoming a state if the USA.

So to be clear I have always treated people fairly and decent as long as they treat me the same no matter what country they are from. If they’re pissed about tariffs, they were just fine with charging tariffs on USA products. So I’m OK with charging tariffs on Canadian products, sounds fair to me. Not to mention there are still rumblings of secession and statehood coming from three western Canadian Provinces. But hey whatever makes them feel good. We’ll be able to book much easier in Florida this winter. Their loss.

Canadians are voting with their pocket-books. It's the best way for them to express their views.

I live south of Detroit by the Canadian border. They can’t let one man ruin their fun. They’re complaining about America, but they’re letting the Taliban take over their country but they’re not worried about that. Makes no sense.

Alot of outspoken hypersensitivity these days. Seems its usually the ones with too much time on their hands. Those winters sure are long up there. Worrying about things beyond your control will eat at you. To each their own. I'm going camping!
