ALWAYS trust a big guy with a deep voice and short cut jean shorts that looks like a 90's action movie henchman

I always do hip thrusts. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only guy at my gym who does it. But I'm adding the step down to my leg day.

6:27 "So basically you're okay with taking it but not giving it." -type of energy to get over the embarrassment I look EVERYONE dead in the eyes

Girls have been doing the first exercise on the stair-master for a long time. Exaggerating the stretch, skipping every other stair and performing hip extension over and over again. Very effective

Split squats, romanian dead lifts, hinge hip thrusts and squats are my go to lower body exercises

Holy moly this guy nailed it. Some exercises are so taxing that you can't exercise again for a few days or some other muscle gives out before your glutes do and you have to stop. As someone who's 197 and trying to build glutes, bulgarian split squats had me almost bedridden for 3 days. I could do about 3-5 each leg and then couldn't stand

The step up / step down is the goat of glute training. I do it with a Smith machine, weighted bar behind my neck on shoulders. One foot on the bench and step down and back with the other. Not only muscle training but the cardio aspect is awesome too.

Hip thrusts hurt my upper back on the bench. I finally decided to try them on a yoga ball and love it. It’s squishy so it’s comfy.

Also 5:21 even better if they're writing rap about your glutes, then you know you did it right
