We are a single family homestead on 2.5 acres in NW Mississippi. Shelly is the gardener and Doug, "Commander Bacon" is the fix it guy. We are exploring traditional ways for growing our own food and most of all trying to do everything His (God’s) Way.

We raise rabbits, ducks, chickens and quail, along with growing fresh produce in our raised bed gardens and in a traditional garden. Bee Keeping is our latest adventure.

Our goal is to inspire others to become more self-sufficient. Come join us on our journey and we’ll grow and learn together. Don't forget, His Way is the Best Way!!! (Psalm 18:30)
