I’m a suburban homesteader (HOHM-sted-er) living between plains of Wyoming and Arizona's desert sky, growing a life rooted in being self-sufficient, self-reliant, and self-sustaining—right where I’m planted. In Wyoming, my homestead is Apple Cottage. In Arizona, it’s The Tin Can—two very different landscapes, both teaching different lessons of resilience and intentional living.
Through gardening, chickens, baking, preserving, and creative work, I share practical, real-life steps for building a more intentional life in small suburban spaces. Learning from the soil.
