Hello and Welcome to Rolling Homestead and Wild Edibles. My Name is Mark.
We start plants indoors to lengthen the grow season. We also grow Microgreens, and discuss soil condition and fertility; with soil tests. We have a 12x24 coop and run that is the work horse for the garden compost. We have switched to Back to Eden Gardening; building a sustainable homestead on 2.75 acres, while still into the wild edibles and a little bushcraft on the side. With a family of 5, we are building our little piece of paradise .
WARNING: Many wild edibles have poisonous look-a-likes, that if consumed, may result in injury, or even death.
REMEMBER to avoid exhausting certain resources by not harvesting all of what you find.
You may want to check with your local DNR office before harvesting wild plants, as you may be required to obtain a license to do so.
Please use caution while in the woods, and using sharp objects.
