Description

I have a rare genetic disorder called Dyskeratosis Congenita (DKC). It causes a lot of issues including premature aging, hence the white hair at 33. It has given me Aplastic Anemia (a rare & serious form of bonemarrow failure), Hepato-Pulmonary Syndrome (a rare disorder that caused lung failure & almost unalived me, cured by liver transplant), & I am now facing an Interstitial Lung Disease diagnosis (also considered rare & serious- fatal in some forms).

I also deal with Avascular Necrosis (a degenertaive bone disease) which was caused by the steroids I was on after my transplant & Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (a blood circulation disorder) which may or may not have been caused by the DKC. Complications from Aplastic Anemia have left me legally blind & with glaucoma in one eye.

To top it off, I am diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder & PTSD. I focus on those @SahrethIsSchizophrenic
I'm just trying to survive & be happy.
