Hitech Trance is fast highly technical psy music with a focus on polished beats, clear bass lines and glitchy sounds designed to reprogram the mind. The main definition of this style revolves around rhythmic patterns created by slicing and rearranging audio files coupled with some melodic elements and voice samples like a puzzle in the mix. It is definitely dance floor oriented music and its usually not bright or dark, just energetic and exciting!

It belongs to the genre of psychedelic music which uses various elements such as distorted electric guitar sounds, Indian music elements such as the sitar, electronic effects, reverberation, and elaborate studio effects, like playing tapes backwards or panning the music from one side to another. The term "psychedelic" is derived from the Ancient Greek words psychē (ψυχή, "mind") and dēloun (δηλοῦν, "to make visible, to reveal"), translating to "mind-revealing".
