Our daughter is 29 and we still put on the tree a paper Gingerbread garland she made in pre-school. The gingerbread men are all crying and we asked her why. She said they know they are going to get eaten! Nancy

Not sure if y'all know this but you can curl wider polypropylene ribbon just as you would curling ribbon. I do this for Christmas and birthdays. It makes beautiful fluffy streamers for packages. I would suggest doing it while watching tv or something because it can take a while for bunches of gifts. At least they do for me because generally, I do this with 6-8 pieces of 4-6 foot lengths of ribbon per bow - sometimes more. I gauge it by the size of the gift. Then, I might or might not tear the wide pieces into narrower strips. Just wrap a regular piece of ribbon around the package as you normally would and cinch your streamers in the middle.

Oh Whitney, it doesn't end when your kids become adults. I still get choked up when I see the ornaments my kids made.
