Description

A collection of mostly obscure tracks between the years 1959 and 1969 with an emphasis on the middle of the decade and many in the style of Phil Spector's 'Wall Of Sound'. A good share of East Coast rarities are featured as well as singles from Europe. Soul, Pop, Teen, Country/Pop, Jazz, Vocals, and Easy Listening sounds are all showcased and are continually being added to the mix. An occasional LP track may be presented, but it's the 45 r.p.m. record in its second decade of manufacture that I am celebrating. Here I pay homage to the talented vocalists, musicians, producers, arrangers, sound engineers, record label designers and photographers who left their legacy for new generations of lovers of obscure music to discover, embrace and enjoy.
