Hi, I'm MJ. Some time in 2010 I archived my entire channel wiping all evidence of my stint as an early YouTube political pundit and proto-influencer. Then in July of 2024 I made a bargain with the gods promising that if Kamala Harris chose Tim Walz as her running mate, I would Unlock The Vault, rereleasing my bad takes, syrupy sincerity, and youthful confidence. I'm delighted to have to make good on the bargain, and am repeating the mantra "don't kill the part of yourself that's cringe, kill the part of yourself that cringes."

17 years after my launch I remain full of optimistic curiosity about what our future holds (I am a matryoshka doll, and little-me remains LOUDLY at the core). I wonder if it'd be fun to make some new videos? The creator environment has evolved into something unrecognizable, but I'm convinced that sincerity and connection will transcend user trends literally forever.
