Description

The Marin County Fire Department provides services to its response area from six stations that provide six Type I engines (three are Advanced Life Support capable), ten Type III engines, three water tenders, four Advanced Life Support (ALS) transport units, one medium rescue, two USAR heavy rescue vehicles, and a variety of chief officer and utility vehicles. The Marin County Fire Department also staffs an Emergency Command Center (ECC) that dispatches for Marin County Fire Department, coordinates wildland incidents within the SRA or FRA, and acts as the County of Marin’s Office of Emergency Services (OES) coordination center for fire dispatching.
