Description

An alternative metalcore unit based out of London, UK. Emerging in 2017 as 'Cold In July', the band performed alongside new-blood UK-based metal artists with performances of early releases including 'Final Breath', which later became part of their debut release 'No Sanctuary' (2020). The band has seen some changes in tenure since its earlier days, with vocalist Will Stanley serving as the sole constant member. After bringing bassist/guitarist Max Chong under their wing during the summer of 2021, the band rebranded as 'THOUGHTCASTLE', bringing forth an evolution in their sound as represented in the release of 'Entropy' (2023). They continue to push the boundaries of modern metal music with a focus on melodic 'djent' riffs, ambient soundscapes and soulful vocal passages, weaving a tapestry of diverse influences into their music.
