Started in December 2010, and part of the Technomirage Network, AkibaWeekly aims to be the premier source of news about "everything awesome" from the hobby/otaku homeland. There is so much going on and so much new stuff it's hard to keep track, so our team will be doing their best to release news here, and on our website.

This is only the beginning though, since there will be other feature articles and travel guides including videos, maps, and photos to help those who may one day explore Japan and help ease their fears and make it easier to navigate what could be a very overwhelming place for some; hopefully enhancing their experience and leading to wonderful discoveries of what's out here!
