The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit mental health watchdog organization established 45 years ago. Today there are 250 chapters in 33 countries. CCHR is a non-political, non-religious organization dedicated solely to abolishing abuse and enacting reforms in the field of mental health. CCHR has been responsible for more than 150 laws worldwide protecting individuals from abusive or coercive practices committed under the guise of mental health.
