Tyndale University is a Christ-centered, bible College/University/Seminary, and In 2013 the vision for the Tyndale Hip Hop Club was birthed by 2nd year student Joshua Houeto.
Vision of the Hip Hop Club
Our main purpose is to teach about the craft/art of rapping and song making to whoever is willing to learn. We believe ANYONE can learn to rap and once learnt it can be used as an effective instrument for God's glory. Ultimately, we want to establish a diverse hip hop culture in Tyndale and we firmly believe that just having the knowledge of the elements of rap will help a person to be a better speaker so even if one chooses not to become a rapper after being a part of this club, they can use their knowledge to become a better public speaker--and thus a better communicator of the gospel.
