Mr. Mota, formed in May 2021, consists of Rosen (Guitar & Vocals), Jake Young (Drums), and brothers Ari and Max Lerman (Bass & Vocals). Combining reggae’s vibrant energy with their own unique style, they craft feel-good anthems that resonate with audiences. Their journey began at a University of Colorado Boulder graduation event, where their first performance quickly led to multiple offers to play throughout Boulder. They adopted the name Mr. Mota and began performing across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, with Boulder’s Fox Theatre playing a significant role in their early growth.

By 2023, the band headlined their first tour, playing over 40 venues across the Midwest and East Coast, including notable spots like Mercury Lounge in NYC, Nectar’s in Burlington, and Charleston Pour House. The success of this tour propelled them into a Winter 2024 Northeast US tour. With new music on the horizon, Mr. Mota is excited to share their sound with even more fans across the country.
