Description
KBEV6 Legacy Channel
Welcome to the KBEV6 Legacy Channel — the official archive of over 50 years of student broadcast journalism at Beverly Hills High School. Founded in 1969 with support from the Bosse Family and the Beverly Hills community, KBEV became one of the nation’s longest-running student-run broadcast programs on the planet.
Here you’ll find thousands of hours of programming created by students: The Norman News Service (the world’s longest-running weekly high school news show, launched in 1970), SkillsUSA award-winning productions, live event coverage, sports, board meetings, and special reports documenting the civic and cultural history of Beverly Hills.
This channel is independently maintained by former student producers, alumni, and community partners to preserve the KBEV legacy and protect the archive of student work for future generations. It is not affiliated with or controlled by the Beverly Hills Unified School District.
