Macroschism

Description

Connor Bensley wanted to try to gather people to work on an animated series of some kind, so he brought a bunch of us together to brainstorm ideas. A few days later, we've decided to go forward with this 'Macroschism' concept.
Macroschism is an alternate timeline/parallel universe of the canon Equestria, in which the three types of ponies went their separate ways, rather than coming together.
The animation project is based around a story set in that setting.
An evil force called Nightmare (yes, related in a way to what could've been Nightmare Moon) attacks Unicornia at just the wrong time, making it look to the other two nations like they're up to something bad. While this universe's main 6 (eventually: starts with the unicorns, add the earth ponies, and later the pegasi) try to stop Nightmare, the political tensions rise, potentially leading to war. Which is all Nightmare's plan: basically to wipe out all of ponykind.
