#2. Diesel engines have about 3 times more torque at low RPMs than gasoline engines.

#3. Diesel engines will last about 3 times longer than gasoline engines.

#4. Diesel produces 17.2 percent more overall power out put than gas.

Meaning a 5 liter diesel engine will produce 17.2% more overall power than a 5 liter gas engine, the power is going to be mostly converted into torque as opposed to HP.
