Chillingsworth Surfingham's melodic shredding elevates to the next wave of Surf music. The songs branch across all waves of surf rock. Influences are shaken, not stirred into the Chillingsworth Surfingham concoction. Born to be to be cool for school, showing kids how to rock and roll with child-like wonder. While there’s nothing adult about Chillingsworth, it’s adult music. Together with Percy Surfingham on drums, they update surf music for the 21st century. Chillingsworth grew up surfing the New Jersey Shore and playing in beach bands at night. Guitar is in his DNA. Surf rock is in his DNA. Percy hails from Southern California, the home of surf and music. The two met in while playing in the indie rock band The Bobbleheads, putting out several albums together.
He is the alter ego of John Ashfield, an elementary school music teacher and leader of The Bobbleheads.
