Description

A place for some history / puzzle pieces of the New Orleans Underground Metal Scene and The "Chal-Metal" scene in the 1980's through the present. I lost most of my tapes or they were destroyed during Hurricane Katrina / Levee Breach in Aug of 2005 when I use to live in Chalmette, LA outside of New Orleans. When the Levees broke, I had 22 feet of water sludge, mold and mildew sitting in my house for 3 weeks So that gives you an idea of what my collection of gig tapes that I shot over the years looked like when I was able to get in my place a month after the storm. The idea is to preserve the tapes that were salvaged and document the rich historic underground scene that was spawned out of the Greater New Orleans area during our salad days.

Also capturing currents bands and still shots and stories from old / current gigs / shows
