The name is derived from the Inuit term for 'Wolf', an animal which is known for its inherent power, endurance, strength and intelligence, all characteristics of the new Amarok.

Featuring optional two-wheel and 4Motion® drive train, top-quality robust workmanship, spacious interiors and carlike handling, the Amarok sets a new benchmark in its segment.

Its latest generation TDI engines are economical, yet extremely powerful units with low emission levels. The Amarok is the latest example of the technological competence of German engineering and Volkswagen's proven quality.
