There's a HUGE difference. a legal system prioritizes procedure, statutes, precedents, and institutional continuity, while a justice system would prioritize fair outcomes, accountability for harm, and correction of wrongs. Many people conclude the former often fails the latter—especially when incentives reward delay, referral chains, settlements that protect the powerful, and "that's just how it works" fatalism from the professionals inside it.
