Before the internet, it was really difficult to watch roller coasters as there weren't many programmes on TV, or video releases. So whenever rides were shown on UK television I would record them on VHS, and watch them over, and over, and over! Some of those clips are the first few videos on this channel. One of which, was a programme called 'Wild Rides'. Produced in 1982, Wild Rides was hosted by Matt Dillon, who introduced a series of music videos, each of which focussed on a particular roller coaster, so that's what I wanted to do!
