Description
West London singer-songwriter Alexia Coley's career spans big band jazz, soul, reggae to UK Garage. Daughter of Ethel Coley, original cast member of Hair the Musical's London production, she performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, and Palladium with the London Big Band and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and sang the theme for The Professionals. She recorded with film composer Laurie Johnson before fronting The Rotten Hill Gang alongside The Clash's Mick Jones.
Her debut album "Keep the Faith" (Jalapeno Records, 2014) received national airplay from Craig Charles (BBC Radio 6 Music), Robert Elms (BBC London), and BBC Radio 2, with live performances on Robert Elms' show and 8/10 stars in Blues & Soul.
She has performed at major UK festivals including Glastonbury. In 2022, she featured on Soul Revivers' "On The Grove" (Acid Jazz Records) alongside reggae legends Ernest Ranglin and Ken Boothe.
Now exploring UK Garage with new releases in 2026.
