THE BLANKETING is a fictional combination of the infamous Chilcotin War (1864) and the Chilcotin smallpox outbreak (1862). The story is about a confronation in the early 1800s between a tribe of Chilcotin people and a pack of Gold Rush miners. The result would change an entire nation forever.
