BC3 Park and Recreation Management

Description

The Park and Recreation Management (PRM) program is a two year associate in applied science (AAS) degree at Butler County Community College in Butler, Pennsylvania. The PRM curriculum prepares students to be multi-skilled park and recreation professionals. Skills acquired include: adventure education, recreation leadership, EMS, search and rescue, park law enforcement, environmental interpretation, first aid, park visitor services, forest and wildlife management.

The PRM program was established in 1967 and had their first graduating class in 1970. It is the only two year Park and Recreation Management associates degree program in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
