A pivotal moment in the company’s history came in 2005 when Savvy Turtle, while recovering from a combat-related injury at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, established Savvy Turtle Records. This division, specializing in Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Country, Hip-Hop, and Techno, marked the beginning of Savvy Turtle Inc.’s expansion into the music industry and the birth of the Turtle Ecosystem.
