WintermintP was already recording originals in 2012 under another username but ended up hitting the reset button in 2015. In order to make a better slate for this new project he had to find a singer to work with on a regular basis. Due to inability to have the means to record or scout an actual singer, he resorted to finding alternatives and stumbling on a franchise known as Vocaloid. The pseudo-band One Minute Winter started around that time. As of 2019 he recruited drummer Mitchell Clark and One Minute Winter is now officially a band.
