It's a unique mind numbing thing when you live in a nation that has so much social change within one generation. My parent's generation basically received little to no education but now we have locally educated doctors and engineers within a generation. It's honestly bizarre. We are thankful to Seretse.

17:24 I'm reasonably confident the people pushing the idea that Botswana should be more open to foreign investment are the people that want to "invest" in Botswana like they invested in other countries. Putting local companies out of business, creating minimum wage jobs and exporting the profit. Maybe it's not Botswana's problem they keep out "foreign investment", maybe it's the investors problem they keep out "foreign exploitation".

Wait, did Barbs say Chobe has 130 elephants? I've been there, and I saw many, MANY more than that on a single safari drive. That place is PACKED with elephants!
