Description
Tsukitabi is a sister group of the French idol cover group Amaitsuki. Based in Japan, the group has been created in April 2020 by 4 members of Amaitsuki (Mélodie, Mikan, Ume and Hikari). Tsukitabi is a happy family gathering girls from all over the world who love Jpop. The very essence of the group is to bring together people from different cultures but living in the same Japan around music. Official languages within the group are English and Japanese.
We post dancing and singing covers of Japanese idol groups on Youtube and aim at performing on stage in Tokyo. The name of the group was chosen in reference to the novel of the famous French writer Jules Verne, "From the Earth to the Moon" ("Tsuki Sekai Ryokou" in Japanese). The word “tsuki” refers to Amaitsuki (“tsuki” meaning “moon”) and “tabi” (“tabi” meaning “trip”) emphasizes the international nature of the group.
