The Screen Age is based on the premise that you can't understand what's happening now without understanding what happened in the last century, and you can't understand the last century without examining the body of work of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Mill Creek Reviews is an attempt to add value to the literally devalued by reviewing public domain movies, namely those sold by Mill Creek Entertainment. Public domain movies provide, among other things, an alternative history of the last century, a tour of what can go fascinatingly wrong in the craft of commercial full-length film production, and occasional glimpses into woefully overlooked art and talent. Public domain movies are free, but they're not without value. In fact, much of their value comes from the fact that they're free.
