Scatman John Forever
Description
Without a doubt, John Paul Larkin (1942-1999), better known as Scatman John, made strong contributions to the music scene of the 1990s. John was responsible for creating a unique fusion of the traditional "scat singing" technique of vocal jazz with the rhythms of dance music and hip hop. This fusion was successful and clearly displayed the talent of Larkin, who had hits like "Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)" (1994), "Scatman's World" (1995), "Everybody Jam! "(1996) and" U-Turn "(1996). With the unmistakable style of his persona "Scatman," his performances and the inspirational lyrics in his songs, he changed the history of music in the 1990s. In addition, he sold millions of copies around the world and won several awards. He received the honorary title "Best New Artist" at the Echo Awards in Germany.
