Description

Can I Use PianoNest tracks for my cover videos on YouTube?
Absolutely! We love to see PianoNest's tracks being used on YouTube! However, PianoNest only own the copyright of the Sound Recording, but not the Composition of the song. In most cases, the owner of the Composition (songwriters/ authors/publishers) love when people are making covers of their song. But they also have the rights to claim and monetize your video, or even (these rarely happens): remove your video, and/or causing a strike to your channel.
PianoNest tracks are managed by RHEI Music (VISO). You may receive a claim notification when using PianoNest tracks. This is normal and this doesn't mean you’re in trouble and will NOT negatively affect your account standing, it’s just our claim of ownership.
Please note, that by using PianoNest tracks you may NOT:
- Upload cover video to YouTube’s Content ID
- Upload video of the track by itself with no creative addition
- Monetize your video
- Create lyrics video karaoke
Thanks!
