Long story short - back in 2011 or 12 not sure which year precisely our YouTube channels were linked to Google+ - back then my Google+ profile was verified and this YouTube account that is automatically linked to G+ got verified as well. I do not use this YouTube channel, so that's why most people are SHOCKED why is there a verified badge while I don't have content. RIP Google+
