Thistle Hill Farms is a father and 2 daughters operated, 20,000 sq ft chemical free market garden located in Central Alberta, Canada. Our goal is to run a profitable little farm, growing a wide variety of colourful, delicious and nutritious vegetables for our customers at local Farmers' Markets.

We started the farm as a test site 3 years ago. We put up terrible greenhouses, we had no clue how to do markets, we had no customers, no social media, no irrigation and really.... no clue what we were doing!

This channel will follow along with the day to day life of running a new market garden in 2022. This channel is not a "How To", it's a "How We Do".

We are hoping by showing the process and common mistakes we make, some new market gardeners will benefit. We also look to connect with our customers that value knowing who is growing their produce and how it's grown.
