I think what's detracting from the vampiric vibes of your vampire shadow redesign is the fact that he's a hedgehog so to some degree we "ignore" the fangs. Or, more accurately, we don't register the fangs as unusual. Shadow is an anime hedgehog, of course he has fangs, except for when he doesn't. Same with his already red eyes, there's nothing vampiric about those peepers that's just what he looks like. We need to give him a neck to bite into, someone close to him, perhaps blue in color so this individual stands out against Shadow's color palette... but who...
