Hi, I'm Anita Wills! I’m a writer and genealogy researcher on a mission to bridge the gaps in our history. I am afro-indigenous and a Tribal Member of the Monacan Indian Nation. From my own journey joining the DAR through my ancestor Charles Lewis to seeing my research filmed by C-SPAN, I’m passionate about sharing the legacy of Afro/Indigenous soldiers and families. Join our community as we dive into Revolutionary Yorktown, the 54th Massachusetts, and beyond.
