Welcome to Miles & Manuscripts — I’m Go Marie Gomes.

The nickname “Go Marie” was given to me years ago after my aunt joked that I never let moss grow under my feet — between running races, being mom, traveling, and always moving toward the next goal, the name stuck.
Today, I’m entering what I believe may be the most meaningful chapter of my life.

After years of hard work and some very difficult seasons personally and physically, retirement unexpectedly opened the door to rediscover creativity, healing, and dreams that had long waited patiently in the background. I’m currently writing my first fiction novel while rebuilding my strength so I can return to running, and continuing my love of travel along the way.
Miles & Manuscripts is a place for storytelling, reinvention, resilience, and new beginnings — one chapter, one mile, one voyage at a time.
