My name is Prajna K Adiga. I have been learning Carnatic Music for the past 8 years. My first guru was Shri Seetharam Sharma Sir in Chennai. I learnt most of my basics under him from when I was 4 years old. I continued my musical journey in Dubai under Smt. Pratyoosha Gurazada ma'am and later under Smt. Madhavi Prasad ma'am. After moving to California, I now continue to learn under Smt. Indu Nagarajan ma'am.
My inspiration and support to continue to learn this unique form of music is my grandmother, Girija Mahadevan, and my mother, Sandhya Krishnamurthy. My favourite aspects of Carnatic Music are Madhyama Kalam and Ragamalikas.
